This shop was once the best chicken and chip shop in the area. Now though… it’s a completely different story!!The chips are too fat and stodgy these days and it’s really unfortunate because they use to have the best and most flavour some chips ever. The fish we were served tonight still had the skin and scales on them…and I’m not just talking a little bit of skin or a couple of scales… I’m talking one whole side of the fish. It was disgusting!!We called to complain and they only offered to rectify it if we went back there. Their come back was that they buy the fish from a factory and they have a sign up saying there may be traces of skin and scales on the fish. We weren’t wasting our time or petrol going back there. Such a disappointment and bad customer service! We will never be going back again!

Bloody brilliant chicken and chips. Chicken is delish, usually nice and moist (although you might wanna get there earlier rather than later to avoid getting the stringy 6:45pm chooks) and the chips are always to die for. the staff are very welcoming and happy to cater for no salt or gravy on the side or even grilled fish if you want. it’s the little things. currently under new management, so a few new items have been put on the menu like a steak sandwich and a new yiros, can’t speak for them yet, but the rest of the menu items are made with care and tasty. my go to fish and chips / chicken shop.
