I don’t understand the negative reviews! BV is one of our favourite takeaway spots. Lemongrass chilli chicken, Mongolian beef, Szechuan beef, laksa, tom yum, spring rolls, vermicelli with sugarcane prawn, pork hot pot – to name a few. All have a great balance of flavours and are fresh and light.

Really disappointed. Their rice hot pot is not like any other traditional rice hot pot I’ve had before. It was like they just put anything in the rice that had too much sauce and was a big slop. The muscles weren’t cleaned and still had beards and the cold rolls were lacking flavor and fillings. They were pretty much only rice noodles so they just fell apart. Will not eat here again.

Quail and the fish dishws were ok but i can taste quit abit of msg. Unfortunately the roasted pork ball is the worst i ever tried, only taste the saltiness and see the colouring, instead of flavorings with sweetness into the meat.

Dimsim was frozen in the middle; fried rice had eggshell in it; hot pot was served with blood dried onto the white spoon handle. Service was polite

Supurb Meal. We ate there today and had entrees of spring rolls and the pork balls. The spring rolls had a completely different filling, very tasty, as too were the pork balls.Mains were sizzling beef with cashews and squid in oyster sauce. Both very tasty. Fried rice was also great. On e of the nicest meals that we have had in a long time.We will be back and if you choose to eat there bring your appetite.

A great night at BJ. It was a quiet night (not dark and stormy). We were there enjoying an intimate birthday dinner We may have been lucky, we may have struck the night when the chef was feeling particularly inspired, but this was a terrific meal. we selected 2 mains and when our host suggested a third (we looked hungry I suppose) we said ‘what do you suggest’. A stir fry? We asked him to choose and that was a great e absolutely recommend BJ. Enjoy!

After reading some negative reviews about this restaurant we was a little worried about using a Groupon there. The decor and atmosphere were very pleasant and the young waiter was very polite. We had Tom Yum soup, beef satay, squid with lemongrass and chillies and sweet and sour pork all of which were very nice and the serves were generous. Not sure what the Chardonnay was but it too was more than acceptable. Overall a pleasant dining experience.
