We were actually looking for Vietnamese food and stumbled across this place realising only after we sat down that it was Chinese food. The service was amazing, they really go out of their way to make sure you have an amazing experience. The food is incredibly cheap and also delicious. I had the custard tarts, soft shelled crab, onion and chive pancakes, duck, flat rice noodles, chicken feet, dumplings, fish (which started off alive in a tank and ended up served up on my table), the pork knuckle… there were many more dishes we ordered, the names of which escape me, but I loved every single one of those dishes (except the oysters – they didn’t taste that fresh and should be avoided). Afterwards we had enough leftovers for another whole meal. We’ve returned and were not disappointed on our second go either. I will definitely be returning again and again.
Food was comparable to most half decent Chinese restaurants in the city, service was good and the food reasonably priced will probably come back and try thd yum cha
Always my favourite yum cha place to go!cheap and delicious! Not really need to go china town! also recommend the $39.8 set for three main and 1 entree, very worth to try!
I just had a great dinner lasr night. The peking duck is absolutely perfect, crispy skin, hand make pancake is fresh, the sauce is great. We also had a steam fish, ginger and shallot sauce, also really yummy.
The food and service was a major let down, when the oyster omelette came out the oyster had this very unpleasant taste. When we told the manger he looked like he didn’t even care, he didn’t even say sorry. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU DON’T WANT YOUR EVENING TO BE RUINED
Had yum cha here on Sunday on two separate occasions. The Pork Rib is horrible. Also avoid the Dim Sims. The other dishes are pretty good. I would recommend the Pork Fried Dumpling, crispy skin. The Mango Pudding tastes wrong as well.
Had the Peking Duck, and Sezhuang Beef. The duck sauce was really poor, the Sezhuang beef was undercooked. The prices were about the same as a premium city restaurant. Service was great though. Bit concerned as within the space of an hour there were only three tables, on a Saturday night! Not good signs.
