Infrastruture is good. i like that, burger is also nice the service is good. Really a nice one. like the atmosphere and the music nice place to visit.
We went for a Friday pub dinner with the kids and chose the dyi grill : it was okay but it lacjs the flavours of a chef prepared meal. However their shared boards are reasonably good and we really enjoyed the sparkling shiraz. Our highlights were that the young staff were accomodating with our kids, kind and very helpful. We recommend !
We’ve been to the Brompton plenty of times over the years and it’s a nice place for a casual meal with friends or family. The stone grill is great and the meals on the menu are good too. The pub itself is quite nice with heritage features and the outdoor area is a great place to have a drink and catch-up. Good selection of wines available and good service from the staff. Parking can be a bit tricky but if you’re happy to get past that you won’t be disappointed.
At at the Brompton in mid-Jan 2017 and it deserves a decent write-up as we enjoyed the experience and rate the place sufficiently that we just booked again today.Ambience – clean & modern possibly lacking any real atmosphere but nice enough.Food choices were excellent and a good selection of beers & wine. we shared the ‘Slider Board’ for an entree and that was a good way to sample several dishes – good value. For mains we both tried the ‘Stonegrill’ experience and it was great both in the novelty and in the quality of the steak and mixed grill was quite good – would recommend everyone should try this once at least.Prices were very fair and the bill for our large courses and a few drinks was just over $100.
Really nice place, the atmosphere and settings are really clean and modern. We tried the stone grill dishes and the food did not disappoint us at all. Adding on to the delicious meal was the cold stonegrill cold rock dessert, a simple yet fun experience. Would definitely come again to try the other dishes!
Wow! Both food and service were amazing. We had the barramundi and seafood stonegrill and both were outstanding. But the desserts were the best of all. What a party in the mouth. The stonegrill cold rock was a great treat and experience and the vanilla bean panna cotta was amazing. The fairyfloss, oh the fairy floss. Staff was excellent and very friendly. One thing though, the main course came straight after entree so we didn’t have enough time to digest but not a big deal for sure. Highly recommended!
Went here for a last minute dinner here last weekNever had it before so I tried the salt and pepper crocodile ,glad I got it as it was so beautifulAbit tougher than calamari but very very tasty, just wish they could do a main size of this! Main I got pork cutlet, that was awesome, cooked perfectly on a bed of potatoes with mushrooms in a rich sauceI couldn’t fault it in anywayBut my wife wasn’t so,she ordered lamb loinAll that came out was 5 cubes of lamb on the plate, bit dissapointing after everything else was so goodBut all in all was a nice place and will go again
