Stumbled into this place for lunch & glad we did. Great coffee & wife had the Miners Pastie(2/3 pastie + 1/3 apple pie) & I had Cornish. Both were very well made & full with filling (no air under the crust)
Delicious! Great atmosphere! Love the Jazz!Great history! Great service! Loved it! Coriander and Ginger lentil patties!
My wife had scones with lashings of cream and jam. I had the Miner’s Pastie – which has apple at one end, like a dessert. The tea was really good too – Vanilla Chai I think. I want to try and buy it somewhere.
