Adelaide’s north east suburbs are a place of discovery for me and prepping for the Ambers Ridge run, after jogging 9kms of hills, was after a … treat with meat. Spotted this bakery on the way up so on the way back, dropped in. Decided to try the ‘guiness steak pie’, an Irish expression in what is quite a southern european area but that is Australia!! The pie was a good size, temperature and whilst the first 2/3rds was more mix than steak, the last 1/3rd was tasty with steak! A smile from the lady serving would’ve added 0.5 to the review, as that took away, as did the ‘Enjoy Norwood’ bag – this ain’t Norwood! Happy to try again one day!
