Being one of the long standing Chinese restaurants in this area, they have not improvised anything. However, having stuck to the basics has worked for them. I’ve seen many complaining about the cashew chicken as tasteless, it’s true the reason being the sauce is not made sharp. However the crispy beef is a must try and the kung pao chicken. Their pineapple fried rice is good and also the noodles singapore style. Not a big fan of desserts in Chinese places, having tried their fried ice cream felt that the ice cream was too little and the flour was too much. Incorporating Chinese desserts would have been good. But totally understand why they don’t have such dishes is due to the market demands. FINAL VERDICT – SEASONAL CHALLENGE
Bought the chicken with cashews and it had no taste to it at. One of the worst tasting meal I have ever had. The spring rolls were ok but the main meal wasn’t nice at all. Pity the people was nice and a nice environment.
The worst Chinese restaurant, we have ever had. Steaming two frozen basa fish fillets, but call steam fresh lu fish (), crispy duck so bad, like KFC fried chicken, worst tasting. not worths any penny.
My favourite Chinese restaurant in Adelaide! The Salt & Pepper Squid is delicious and one of the favourites my husband and I get every time we dine at Prince Room. Have been going for years and will continue to do so. The service is always great every time and would definitely recommend to my friends.
Just awful. Years ago I lived near this restaurant and often got takeaway there.Went back this week and it was Just Awful. All the food tasted slightly off.
Disappointing service and food. Fried rice is tasteless and plain, very little ingredients in it! Roast chicken is very salty and even simple fried veg cant do it well, very oily. Don’t think would like to go back anymore ; (
10/10. This is my favourite restaurant in the whole of Adelaide, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, very friendly and welcoming staff always get the seat next to the fish tank.
