Love this place!!!! BEST PIZZA IN ADELAIDE, well, that I have ever eaten and I have eaten at a lot of pizza bars. Crispy base and delicious toppings cooked in a wood oven. I drive about 20 mins to pick up this pizza and the base is still crispy when I get it home. That says a lot to the lengths I go to for their pizzas. Have been eating their pizzas for nearly 8 years and it’s as good as the first day I tried it.
I’m out. For now. But you know what? Vesuvio Pizzeria is like a psycho ex-girlfriend who’s good in the sack, for some reason you always want it back. We have been getting pizza here for over 8 years, but the last 5 times the pizza has been sub-standard. (Burnt bases, toppings not up to scratch, long wait times for delivery) Although…When these guys get it right they make one of the best pizzas in Adelaide, so ask yourself…are you feeling lucky?
This place has been there for more than 40 Years for a reason!!Amazing Pizza and even better Garlic Pizza. I would highly recommend the Inferno topping, its a bit spicy but the taste is awesome.Highly recommended!!
I cant believe the reveiws. Poor service, you sit in the place and it is unbelievable how it even operates. Dont look around too much as the place is disgustingly dirty, especially the toilets. The pizza was poor, garlic bread was ok, ravioli eas poor. Find somwhere else.
Had better. Had a very large take away and it was pretty ordinary.Tasted plain, not enough flavour yet it had plenty of topping.Base was like Foccacia.Not quite the great pizza i was expecting from reviews.
FINALLY! A halfway decent pizza for a good price. I’ve been here several times now and the quality has so far been consistent. Ok, it’s been a meat lovers on all occasions, but that’s because it’s tasty and filling without making you feel all bloated. A surprising find as we stopped in on a whim. Wasn’t feeling particularly inspired by the volcano on the building, but figured I was hungry and you only live once. Glad we did!
Absolutely delicious! Doesn’t look like a fancy pizza place, but the pizza is perfectly prepared with a crisp, thinnish crust which isn’t stodgy, and a perfect amount of topping. We ordered a half meat lover/half the lot and fresh grated cheese was even added after the pizza was taken out of the oven which melted beautifully on the way home. Very reasonably priced and full of flavour.
