Good local fish and chips shops are hard to come by this place I’ve been coming for years and it definitely delivers consistently quality food. Customer service they always friendly and welcoming but it’s the food that packs full of punch. Open till late it’s served us well for feeding the family sometimes when things get busy. The butterfish battered is so nice!
I am so surprised this joint does not have more reviews! Been coming here on & off for years because it is a bit out of my way but i sometimes crave their burger with the lot or tender chicken shaslick so much that i will make a special trip! The salads are super fresh & tasty! The place is exceptionally clean & the service is brilliant, friendly & fast. Most of the time it is packed to the rafters at dinner time, so a phone order is probably advisable if you don’t want to wait the normal fish & chip shop wait. An absolute gem which has won a few awards over the years.

I have seen this outlet for many years but never tried it. I had heard some very good reports so thought we would test them out. Now, if you like great tasting food head down here. I ordered a burger with the lit and it was delicious. A good old fashioned burger! Not sloppy or soggy but very tasty. The chips were excellent too. Others in our group had the calamari pack (calamari was nice and tender, salad fresh and tasty), steak sandwich was laden with tender meat. Overall a great old fashioned fish and chip shop that I will now make my go to fish n chip shop in the west
