The best experience at an Indian restaurant we’ve had. Went in at 9.30pm expecting to be turned away, but they gladly served us and allowed us to dine in. Service was great. They brought out the spiciest genuine Vindaloo my partner has ever had, and a delicious, creamy, mild butter chicken for me. Massive portions, huge naan, plus local wine selection and well priced too! We’re visiting a local relative here from Melbourne, and looks like we’ll be coming back more often!!
Terrible. We order a few dishes from menu. Everything arrived quickly. Every item was terrible and so we asked for the manager. He was rude n dismissive because no ever complains about his food. After arguing for 15mins he refunded us 50% of what we paid. Never to return totally disgusting service.
Great food! One of my favourite Indian restaurants. All of the vegetarian dishes are amazing, especially the pumpkin chickpea and spinach salan! The service has never been anything to boast about but they have never been rude either.
Stale and Rude!. This is one of the poorest food we have eaten ever … food was stale… We didn’t want to create a scene so walked up to the counter to quietly tell him and he said it was not…. Without even looking or trying … Now half my family are chefs and hoteliers and I know what stale is ….He didn’t even try to convince us … And was pretty curt and rude… But I didn’t want to risk getting sick and didn’t want to argue with someone aggressive and rude like him either….. So we paid for the unfinished food and left. We will never return.
Never again!. Well we used to love this place, but last night was a disaster! We ordered online with MenuLog, the order was larger enough to get free delivery and a free serve of puppodums. Before I placed the order I called and asked how long delivery time was, I was told 50 minutes, I thought that was OK, so placed my order. A few minutes later I got a phone call from MenuLog stating that the restaurant had called them and wanted me to pay $5 for delivery and would I be happy to pay! Naturally I said no way! She said OK, and informed the restaurant. I then got an SMS saying that my order would be delivered by 7:50pm. I was happy with that.An hour and a half later we still didn’t have any food, I called the restaurant asking how much longer we would need to wait, I was informed that the driver had left with my order (they only have one delivery guy). We live a maximum of 10 minutes away.30 minutes go by and I call again, obviously he hadn’t left with my order like I was previously told. They apologised and said it wont be too much longer.About 5 minutes later the driver arrives and apologises for the delay.I checked the order and there were no puppodums and no dipping sauce with the samosas.I called the restaurant rather angry at this point to have waited over 2 hours and to have items missing, they apologised and said that the driver would return with our items. He NEVER CAME BACK! And neither will we!The place has obviously changed owner’s too, the cuts of meat aren’t nearly as good as they used to be.17 Jul, 2013THE BEST Indian in Adelaide!!!. We have been having takeaway from here for 10 years, only ever having takeaway. We have never had a bad meal from here, everything is just delicious. It is the tastiest and the best Indian food in Adelaide. Our favourites are the mixed entree platter, butter chicken, lamb vindaloo and dahl.
