We were very dissappointed with our experience at this restaurant. We order a meat platter for 2 which came out with a variety of mixed grilled meats of which the lamb was dry, sausages cold, lamb cutlets raw and something that resembled a quail was carcoal black. We also ordered a Greek salad which looked like a child had chopped it and we need too cut the tomatoes up ourselve to fit them into our mouths, not to mention they were tasteless. There was no problem with the quantity of food on the platter, including the ridiculously amount of chips and there was heaps of meat but as for the quality and taste, it was poor. For what you pay you should walk away satisfied, but we didn’t.
Wednesday night diner, Ellenika was busy and did not disappoint.The Good: enjoyed the octopus and the goat, both dishes were well done and cooked perfectly. All the other dishes did not disappoint. Ambiance on the harbour is great, all up good.The not so good: service was at times a bit slow. Would I go again? Yes, it was a good experience.
Ellenika is in a prime spot, and has so much potential. However, they still need some improvement. We came on a very busy Saturday evening. We were happy to get the seat considering that we hadn’t booked. Everything was just so so. Service was a bit all over the place, not familiar with the spirits on offer and bringing us a completely wrong drink! The food was ok-ish and the servings were pretty small. Great location but a lot to improve on!
We were very disappointed with this restaurant, on arrival we were greeted by a lady who couldn’t find our booking and even questioned us as to how we booked, in a rude manner.The service by the blonde waitress was terrible, it was obvious she did not want to be there. After being shown to our table we were left to work out the set menus and the normal menu all by ourselves with no explanations by the waitress at all, after the first round of drinks we had no choice but to visit the bar ourselves as the waitress was never around.The food was good and presented very well and came in a timing fashion.Overall I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to any of my family and friends, until they fix what is desperately lacking and that is the service.
Just rang to cancel a booking and the lady cut me off mid sentence and then hung up on me. Left a bad experience for me and will not be trying this place
The food here is incredible, sensational and delicious. We got the trio of dips to share and the meat platted for two. There was so much left over, but in a goid way. The downside to the night is that it took a long time to get served for drinks. Overall a great night and look forward to going for my birthday
Came for dinner on a Saturday night. Meals came out pretty quickly but took a while for our order to be taken. Had mezedakia to share, all of the dishes came out fresh, and tasted pretty good. Smaller portion size for the price but nice atmosphere and they had also live bouzoukia which you can’t really beat!
