Avoid at all costs!!!!!We went for some nice fish and chips by the beach, after ordering the guy behind the counter asked for $90, for 4 people, I should’ve taken that as the warning sign. He then had the nerve to tell me there was a .30c surcharge for paying with card! The Food:Flathead & chips did not come with the pictured lemon, that is .50c extra and only one wedge for that price. Sauces are also $1 each for a tiny tub. We ordered a vegetarian wrap which came with what looked like a fish cake inside, when we asked in it was fish as one of us is vegetarian we were first told it was and then who I assume was the owner angrily told us that it was just a potato cake and he shoved his finger in and out of the wrap packet. Final insult was as we left i spotted a box of ‘I & J Flathead Frozen Fillets’. $90 for supermarket quality frozen fish!Appalling!

This place is terrible and a 1 is a generous score. I feel sorry for tourists coming here thinking they might get fresh fish and chips only to be served dried up pieces of greasy mess. You couldn’t ask for a better location so it is sad that such a basic cuisine is ruined by a careless establishment.1.60 per calamari ring! You have to be kidding. The rings were no bigger than the diameter of a ping pong ball.

terrible value for money. Chips tasted like fish. Couldn’t eat them at all. Hotdog was plain and tasteless with stale bread. Front counter service was nice and smiley but the manager was rude and wouldn’t give a refund or make any any offer to appease our complaints. If only we had read reviews before we ate here. Don’t eat here, we made a terrible descision today.

Horrible horrible fish!! Not fresh at all. Was given the wrong order in which the lady did not apologize for or give us the calamari we asked for she simply walked away after we brought it to her attention. They also had no dim sims on their menu… (what kind of fish & chips shop doesn’t have those??!!?!!) the chips were average and a very small portion for the amount of money paid. No chicken salt & tartare sauce was gross. Will never return here again! Overpriced garbage.

Terrible disgusting fish!!! Frozen only!!! Couldn’t believe they didnt serve any fresh fish at a fish and chip cafe! If i could i would give this zero. There are so many choices around here, Go elsewhere!
