Truly the best value for money steak in Australia! Full disclosure…this is our home away from home, but theres a reason for that. The great wine selection and perfectly barbecued meats & seafood, (cooked on the massive coal fired grill at the entrance to the restaurant) make for a hearty experience for the whole family.Here, the brilliance is in the SA regional meat quality and Chefs barbecuing skills.
Don’t know why this place has such high ratings… We came here over the long weekend and ordered a steak and burger. My partner said it was one of the worst steaks he has had. The steak was plain and didn’t come with any sauce. The signature salad was underwhelming and it was extra $ for chips. The chicken burger was very plain with simple salad and mayonnaise which made it merely satisfactory. Chips were ok though. The interior of this place feels like a cafeteria and the waiter guy was clumsy. High price for underwhelming food. Could cook better steaks at home on the BBQ.
