Less than impressed. Visited the jetty hotel with some relatives all the way from England on a week night and spent a few hours buying drink after drink between the 5 of us. At 11.30 we needed food and the venue does not sell anything substantial so we brought a cone of chips from a nearby fish and chip shop to enjoy with our drinks. The young lady at the bar decided to power trip and rudely told us to go back to where we bought them from, and that we werent permitted to even eat them on the footpath outside the shop. Really have to say use some common sense and discretion, we are the only ones spending money at your bar and you want to force us off the public footpath. Fancy treating big spending customers like that on a quiet night, especially when the said customers happen to manage a restaurant of their own. Not impressed

Popular, Great food, Affordable. Located beside the tram stop, Mosely Square, Glenelg, is the Jetty Hotel. Outside on he sidewalk a good alfesco area, with table chairs and umbrella’s, opposite across the walkway, there is a very large open plan dining area, that looks out across the main street. A long easy accesable bar along the wall. With a large lounge dining area at the rear. I sat outside in the sun, people watching. Choosing from a very diverse, affordable menu, salt and pepper squid with fries & salad, and a nice cold beer. My order was well prepared and presented and very tasty, the salad in particular was colourful and very fresh. The service was professional and friendly, tables were clean and tidy. Live entertainment at street level, all making this the venue of choice for locals and tourists. The Jetty Hotel is a great find, for eating, drinking, relaxing, definitely recommend.
Terrible food; Terrible service: Ordered 1/2 doz oysters kilpatrick, never before have I had to spit out an oyster!! Disgusting!!! And when I complained the bar chick replied ‘yeh, I wouldn’t them’… No apology or refund!! Don’t even bother trying!!
What a hole. If you wanna stop for a beer this place is ok. DO NOT EAT HERE! Especially don’t have the oysters, they made me hurl.
Quickly shown to a table, proceeded to the bar to wait fifteen minutes to be served, bar man struggled with English but can’t blame that for poor service. Waited almost an hour for our food. Platter for two with gourmet food had packaged and reheated cheap food places with wilted salad. Not happy and won’t be racing back.
Horrible service. one of the bar staff was incredibly rude to our group and spent most of her time talking to a group of obviously underage boys while we waited to get served. She was rude to us every time we asked for a drink, only stayed for the good band playing. We definitely won’t be recommending it to any friends visiting glenelg
