Average food and below average service. We waited 45mins on a quiet Sunday afternoon. We had been told that our pizza had been given to someone else after about 30mins and when we gave up after another 15mins, both meals were only just coming out ready. Basically, they either lied to us, or it would have been a 15min wait between mine and my partner’s meal. They obviously mean well, but it isn’t worth the wait. Plenty of great digs in Glenelg; this isn’t one of them.
Im going to be pretty straight forward with this place, the pizza tasted exactly like a Papa Guiseppe or McCains frozen pizza, just cooked ina proper pizza oven.
Below average service and food. When I went to pay for quite a large number of pizzas, I was told that I would have to pay an extra fee of $3 if I used my bankcard. I was annoyed at this, as I had just shouted twelve people lunch and I was put in an awkward spot. I decided not to pay the fee out of principle, so I had to walk to the ATM and take out the cash and then return. If I’d ordered something for $5, I’d be more understanding, but when the bill was large, I felt that it was an unreasonable fee – especially without warning! I’ll never return to this place again. Everything about the place is average. Being a local institution is no excuse for serving average food and ripping off customers.
Low grade dog food. Orderd a party size pizza and two garlic breads to be delivered. got a family size and two uncooked garlic breads.called up the owner who told us to go get stuffed.
Inferior bolognaise. Really craved a bolognaise and found this place. The bolognaise was disappointing to say the least. Little meat, tart, no flavour. Very very amateurish. Too much lumpy tomato. The very worst of the worst as far as pasta dishes go. On the other hand the cappuccino was the best I’ve ever had. The customer service was good. Nice owners. But seriously sort your pasta out. I’m bangladeshi and I make fantastic pasta and would expect better from Italians
Disappointing. Had margarita pizza, not great. Very little fresh tomato, minimal herbs, terrible doughy base. Worst I’ve had in 2 years.
Great Pizza. Been coming here over 2 years now and love the pizza! The staff are very freindly and always take your oder promply. Love the place will keep coming
