Ate here with my girlfriend Saturday night. Couldn’t say enough about this place. Beautiful friendly staff. Wonderful setting. Had the whole balcony to ourselves. Food was just gorgeous. Best Indian I’ve ever had. Will be back again and again and again. Must try.
Very ordinary food and don’t get tempted to get in the restaurant just by looking at the Menu. The only good thing about this place is the menu.
Used a groupon voucher today, which entitled us to a curry of our choice, served with Rice, Pappadums and Naan Bread plus a glass of wine.According to their Facebook page, they opened in July this year so only 2 months old. The Menu’s for both the food and drinks, were beautifully designed in wood, with a spiral centre and raised wooden letters on the front – stunning! The butter chicken had a dash of spice, which was served in a metal bowl sitting over a tea light, to keep it warm. The Naan bread would have to be the best I’ve tasted. Fluffy in the middle, with a crunchy outer. The pappadums and rice were lovely. The restaurant has 2 floors, with the 2nd floor opening up onto a balcony that has tables and chairs. It would be beautiful to sit here on a warm day, as it gives perfect views of the sea and the Glenelg Jetty.I can’t fault anything – the food was divine, the service was friendly and with some rather lovely music playing softly in the background, the ambience was top rate.We will definitely be back – Highly recommend.
Mine is one of only two tables occupied here tonight. I don’t get it Adelaide? This restaurant is awesome. The food was beautifully spiced and just downright delicious, and the location is amazing. I sat outside looking at the ocean and enjoying a kingfisher, which by the way, they have on tap. Guys, if it doesn’t work out for you in Adelaide, please move to Melbourne and I’ll be a frequent customer. Thanks for a great meal.
We had a mixed starter which was literally sizzling hot having arrived on a hot plate. I followed up with lamb do-pyaaza with rice and garlic naan. I liked the fact that you are asked how spicy you would like it, I asked for medium hot and it was perfect. I also liked that the meat came in metal bowls that are perched above candles, this keeps your food piping hot. Very polite courteous service too. Highly recommend!
We had been recommended ‘Indian Spice’ by our parents and we’re told this is the best Indian in Adelaide. Now for my parents to say that it must be good. We went there on a Sunday night. The service was fast and knowledgeable. The menu is traditional with the usual western indian food. The Nan bread was crisp, the curry’s were tender and full of flavour. Will definatly be back again.
Have only been here for TA so far but have been very happy with the quality of the food & service; a dine in visit is definitely due. The service is super friendly and fast and both meat eaters and vegos have been more than satisfied with their meals. Veg korma and samosas where particular favs. And for those into beer, they offer Kingfisher on tap.
