Loved Mammas from when I used to work at the grand hotel and would have dinner or breakfast here. Nothing has changed over the years same great food and service. Had everything from pizza to pasta. Some places take you for a ride down memory lane. Mammas does that every time
Me and my family have been coming here for years to get our seafood pizza!! Never disappoints! Great service and perfect location so close to the beach 🙂
Really really average food, gave it an extra point due to both staff members I interacted with being super friendly. Ordered the warm chicken salad which consists of limp bitter lettuce some tomato quarters & red onion smothered in bad balsamic dressing, upon this was placed avocado that looked like it was cut yesterday with super dry overcooked bland chicken placed on top. We also had the garlic bread which was average at best smothered in butter but not much garlic.
I only went here to sample the gelato. I tried the baci flavour and it was not that great. The dark chocolate flavour came through more than hazelnut and it needed to be more balanced. I appreciate this is not their main caper so I can’t be too harsh.
Stopped in here for a dinner for two.Would easily be some of the best pasta dishes we have had in our travels, the garlic cheesy pizza as a starter was also to die for.Would be exceptional with table service rather than the order at the counter method.
Coffee is good (monjava coffee )and the staff is friendly …although it was just a quick coffee stop it looks like a very vibrant restaurant in busy jetty Rd Glenelg. Ample room inside and out and a right on the beach.
Had a late New Years dinner here last night and the place was absolutely packed. Food was great and waiter Jay was incredibly nice. Under the circumstances it would have been easy to drop the ball but they did a great job
