Reminds me of the food in Thailand when we lived there. Very friendly staff &-owner is a sweetie, hard working lady. Love the,Poochee Prawns, Laksa, everything yum. The sticky rice & mango are gorgeous. Going back again tomorrow with frienbds.
I would give 0 star. Very rude staff. we were told to leave because of 8 months old baby who was very quite. Who disrespect their customers like this. I would like dying of hunger rather than going there…
Very rude customer service from the lady with the short hair didn’t welcome us and shout at us rudely for not having a booking for a small group when the restaurant was all empty.
My partner and I have come here twice now for take away with both friends and family and they are always warm and welcoming! The space and the food take you back to feeling like you are actually in Thailand- which brings back fond memories of our trip there recently! We have a few dietary needs which they have been more than helpful with accommodating each time 🙂 – The lady even gave us extra spring rolls for free as we had a lovely conversation about family, Thailand and even spoke some Thai that we had learn on our travels !** MUST TRY THE PAPAYA SALAD ** I have been looking for a papaya salad in Adelaide that replicates the ones we had whilst in South East Asia and their one is spot on the money! Totally delicious, fresh, zingy and spicy….YUM !!
Really one of the best Thai places in Glenelg. It loses out to poor Google search results and sparse reviews, owing to it having moved a couple of times in Adelaide. Also, it’s on a busy corner and a large layout which often leaves it looking empty, but the reason for this is not the food or service! The owners are extremely friendly and understand if you want something cooked with an authentic degree of spice (every Thai restaurant in Adelaide cooks for the Australian taste bud, it’s just necessary, but simply ask and it’ll taste like Thailand, minus a couple of rare ingredients that aren’t imported here). Can’t recommend the food enough, especially for the price. This place deserves to be more popular!
One of the gems in Jetty Road. Came here for lunch and have their Pad Kee Mao, Green Curry, Fish cake and Pad Thai. Very authentic dishes and it comes in good portion as well. Great value.
This place reminds me of something you’d find on Koh San Road, but with less atmosphere and higher prices. The food is reasonable, nothing to write home about. I wasn’t disappointed, but wasn’t pleasantly surprised either. It’s the kind of place you’d grab a quick bite to eat; it’s a real take away kind of joint. It’s for those nights when you really can’t be bothered to cook, you’re in your active wear or beach gear and just don’t have the energy to change. Will I go again? Hmm..probably.
