As an ex-Canberran, the restaurants where Omar started off are iconic.Imagine then my delight to find that he has settled here and opened up in Glenelg!I have scored this a 5 for what it is – nothing fancy, just good, honest, deliciousTurkish food – served up with warm and friendly service. The kabak – zucchini balls are a real melt in your mouth highlight and the meats also beautifully seasoned and grilled.Most of all, Omar has a great business model, offering a set banquet for 2 or more people at 24.50 a head! Vegetarian option is also available – a great place for a nice dinner for two, or a group event.Takeaway also served at excellent prices meaning we took some home for the next day!This will be a regular for us – no question.
Amazing food. Very friendly family run restaurant. We had the banquet, $24.50 each for a fabulous amount of food that was all delicious. The bread kept coming out even at the end when we were full – very generous portions. Currently they are waiting for their liquor licence, which apparently is due soon. I was just here on a weeks visit from interstate – wish this place was close to me as Id be a regular.
