Just awful. The manager, Jane has a disposition to not honouring the challenge time. When a review of CCTV footage was requested, something which she was initially enthusiastic to do, when she did so in private she declined to show or comment about it making all sorts of excuses. Something to hide perhaps? Or inclusive of the >30 minute wait time for the meals. The waiters and waitresses were nice enough but the fault is that of the management. Dreadful.
It was horrible. Went there for my birthday only to have my partners steak cooked super well done after ordering a med-rare steak. Complained and gave the meal free but my partner did not eat steak that night, just the chips off the side. Thought we would try it again and the same thing happened. We told manager about the reviews and he just laughed it off and said that they ignore them. Maybe if they read them, they would mnow how to cook a decent steak and people would stop writing bad reviews!
One word: terrible. I visited outback jacks for brunch on a Sunday morning and was extremely disappointed. I waited almost an hour and a half for my food and when it arrived I was disgusted. The scrambled eggs looked like spew and tasted like it to. Then the waitress kept insisting that the food was fine. By then i was grumpy and hungry so I left $5 for my horrible coffee and the ate at subway. I sure hope the steak is better then the breakfast because it was revolting.
Rubish. I am currently sitting in the restaurant. Sent 2 meals back for very poor quality steak. So tough that it was unable to be swallowed. These were premium wagyu porterhouse steaks. $50 meals! Also the mash was uneatable not just because of the taste but the fact it was also stone cold! Also would not recommend the ribs unless you are a mouse. $35 meal for about 30grams of meat! Never again will I be coming here.
How is this place still open? Shocking! I’m vegetarian these days and this was unfortunately the last place I had a steak, coincidence? No!
Tough. Had the Lump-A-Rump, it was shockingly tough. Wasnt cooked fantastically and was a terrible piece of meat.
Get some proper chefs! – crap. Tried twice on two celebratory occasions and it ruined them both. National manager was full of wonderful apologies but all a little too late. Food was overcooked and took an age to arrive. Hop on a tram to the city and get some proper food.
