A well established fish and chips store. I’ve actually been coming here for quite a few years now, since it’s become a bit of a habit.All things considered though, it feels as if the quality has been dropping over the years. We came in today to get the butterfish and chips, but everything was just oily.Although the serving is not a bad size, it was just difficult to finish because of how oily and salty it is, and it isn’t justified by the price. If you haven’t been here before, it’s a bit of a Glenelg ritual, but don’t expect too much.

Pretty decent fish and chips for what I felt was good value. Generous servings, crispy fish, good chips, and the onion rings were some of the best I’ve had in awhile.
The best fish and chip i have tried in adelaide. I like the service that you can tell them your chip either cook well done or under cook. The burger is also good and i like to order it with the half cook running egg.
I’m always looking for a good fish & chip shop and I had seen some pretty good reviews of this one. They were from several years ago though and I have to say that the Bay Fish Shop is pretty average. The whiting was quite nice but the chips were undercooked. It was also pretty pricey. Where can I get great fish and chips in Glenelg?
