Very bad . Over cooked over crumed over sauced over prised the oysters were not fresh or born in the smashed shells they were served in . The staff did not respond in any way they just waited for me to leave . This place is a real shitter .
Celebrated my 50th there last night with family and friends. Staff very fruendly and helpful throughout and not a clean plate was left! Food very good. Good night.
The room was cold & the waitress never smiled but the food was good.My pre-dinner drink (Beam & Coke – yes, I’m a Bogan) smelled & tasted weirdly aniseedy and was replaced. There seemed to be a problem with the soda mix.We started with garlic bread & then I had the seafood share plate (entree) for my main course & the standard of this dish was very good.I loved the creamy fresh natural oysters. The scallops may have been a tad overcooked. The smoked salmon with dressing, dill & capers was tasty. There was a lot of good sized firm prawns which I was happy to peel & dip in the dressing. A finger bowl was supplied but I needed a hose-down afterwards. While this meal is a tad pricey, I recommend it for anyone who loves seafood & understands that you have to pay for quality. He had salt & pepper prawns which were perfect for him.She had her favourite – whiting which says two pieces on the menu but there were more on her plate, perhaps due to smaller sized fillets? No room for dessert.
