The waffle tasted a little bit different than the other in Australia. The waffle tasted like the bread I had in Hong Kong bit still worth to try. (I used to live in Hong Kong but now studying in AU). The ice cream was normal. However, the presentation can be better instead of plastic box.
Amazing!!!! would definitely visit again and again, service was extremely friendly and welcoming. The waffles were perfect with the smooth Belgium chocolate and the strawberries were perfectly sweet and the ice cream was delicious everything balanced out! craving waffles right now!
really quick service and it was really good tasting waffle, the staff were also very friendly. was more on the expensive side but i guess thats what you get at glenelg, would recommend going if you’re down that way

Was a friends birthday, decided to treat ourselves as we used to go to Dover Gardens store and loved it! This place, to say the least, was a huge disappointment. We were patronised by the staff, who then proceeded to complain because we closed the door on a freezing day. Our waffles were soggy with soft serve ice-cream (which does NOT work with waffles) and squished in a horrible take away container with plastic cutlery. The coffees were horribly made, burnt milk and extremely expensive for the 100mls that we actually got in the cup. After our great experiences over the years at your original store, with real plates, cutlery and cups, we were sorely disappointed. We will not be going to Waffle King again.
I was so disappointed when I went to the Waffle King at Glenelg. I absolutely love their Sturt Road caf and was planning to go there only to discover that they are only open on Friday and Saturday nights now, and will be closing in July. so, we went on to Glenelg because I wanted a Waffle King experience.There is nowhere to sit inside (2 small tables in a wind tunnel) and everything is in take away containers. I ordered the ‘duo’ – and yes a ‘duo’ is what I got, a waffle drowned in 2 types of chocolates with soft serve ice-cream. Whereas if I had ordered from the Sturt Rd caf it would have been presented on a plate with the chocolate in dipping containers with real ice-cream.The waffle was still great, but, I won’t be going back to the Glenelg store – there is now no atmosphere and it doesn’t feel special anymore.I really hope they haven’t made a bad decision with this move.
Great spot in southern suburbs for dessert. Cosy spot which can be busy so worth booking a table. The waffle tasting plate accompanied a coffe or one of their teas to avoid chocolate overload
