When youve tried the best dont bother with the rest! So. Much. Food. And sooo good. Dont even think of getting 1 main per person because you wont be able to finish it! Sharing is caring in this amazingly delicious Greek food haven. A new favourite in Radelaide!
Went here after hearing a lot of hype and they didnt disappoint. Good value for money and the food was really tasty. Will be coming back for the share platter.
Best Greek in Adelaide hands down!! Would rate 10 stars if I could!I ordered the lefterie speciale, it probably could’ve fed 2-3 people it was so huge! Can’t wait to come back! We were here a few weeks ago and was hoping to come back for my birthday this week, but unfortunately they are closed until September!
Don’t think Greek food can get much better than this. Prices for the starters begin at $20, but servings are huge. Had the zucchini balls which were fantastic.Massive servings carry over into the mains. Large mixed soulakia was absolutely massive. Great food and decent atmosphere. Head of staff could use some work as customer service wasn’t the best, otherwise waitstaff were fine albeit in a rush. Will be back.
Kefi was my first experience at a restaurant serving Greek cuisine, and it left a good, and lasting impression. For a table of 3, we ordered the mixed souvlaki, the whiting fillet, and the spinach pie (I can’t remember the Greek names for this, I’m sorry!!).They get very busy around dinner time, so definitely book ahead, or try your luck and come as they open, which was what we did! To start off, let me say that the serving sizes here are HUGE, and not one table left without a take-away box; it’s very well worth the money you pay.My favourite dish from the night was the whiting fillet, which came with 4 fish fillets, potato (chips?), greek salad, and the appropriate sauce for the fish. The fish was cooked perfectly, and was not fishy. It was so soft, and the flavour was subtle, yet delicious. Like all their dishes, it didn’t taste too salty like most restaurant dishes nowadays which I appreciated. For lack of better word, it tasted very ‘fresh’ and ‘light’. To be honest, I didn’t expect much of the potatoes based off of the photos I had seen, but I LOVED THEM. I’m pretty sure they use real potatoes and cooked them, but somehow, they were SO CRISPY which I ADORE in my chips, and it remained so for the hour or so we were there! I was so impressed by this, and I would recommend just ordering a bowl for a side if you have the space in your stomachs! The greek salad was also very tasty, all fresh ingredients, and was very refreshing. The spinach pie came with 5 generous servings with a bed of salad. I love the greek filo dishes, and this did not disappoint. Again, such fresh, real ingredients, and you could taste that. The pastry was so crispy! Highly recommend this as well! The mixed souvlaki dish consisted of 2 skewers of meat, potato (chips?), greek salad, pita, and tzatziki. Again, the potatoes were to die for, and the pita was so soft with a slight crisp, and tasted amazing with the tzatziki. Greek salad, same as before. However, the meet skewers were overcooked in my opinion, as they were a little dry and chewy, but wonderful flavours otherwise. The service here is great, the staff were so friendly and kept checking up on us throughout the night. Overall, a really great place that I’d love to come back to; they gave me a great first impression of Greek cuisine!
Wow! Mind blown! An absolute amazing meat fest. So much delicious food. Had enough food left over for another person, which we were able to take home. It may seem a little expensive ($30-$40), but 3 mains can easily feed 4 people. Only small thing to pick on, is it was a little crammed inside. Would hate to be there in summer with that many people. But will definitely be going back!
Amazing food great service every seat taken so it was a bit noisy but thats because everyone was happy here. Kefi is like coming home excellent service food can not be faulted in anyway
