Very long wait for the meals, well over an hour. At least 15 minutes between the first and last person served at a table of 5. Food was average at best.
Havent eaten here for a couple of years due to being unimpressed previously. Tried it tonight after cricket as they have been an Unley sponsor over the years and it was convenient. Ordered two beef burgers, chicken burger and salt and pepper chicken. Burgers were horrible, a tiny piece of beef/chicken on a low quality, dry and tough white bread roll. Salads and condiments were woeful and the chips were half cooked, a few were still a little frozen inside. Salt and pepper chicken was a miserly serve and the salad was pathetic. I will never go back.
I don’t know whether it’s our timing or just a great day but a lot of these places are amazing in Adelaide. I know I rate a lot of these places quite high but I just have to go on what we have. (Hey I’m not a critic, just know when food is or)We stopped in to take advantage of the $15 burger and beer deal, on our day off. We both got the beef burger and we are still thinking about it hours later. Perfect, beef patties, seasoned well and juicy, the addition of caramelised onions just made this a perfect burger at a very nice price!! The chips were great and a very generous size not over the top which becomes a waste when you’re full of delicious burger.
