It’s a good sign when people are walking past one ice cream shop to get to Bottega, and staying despite the line! We waited for about 5 minutes, and I would happily wait 15.The salted pecan & maple is so delicious and rich. I like the style of their ice cream; they don’t put lots of extra stuff in it. It’s just really well-made ice cream.
I can’t speak highly enough of the gelateria situated near Henley Square. Yes the prices may be slightly more than average but seriously the gelato is the best outside of Italy I have ever had. They only do about 6 flavors a day and the flavors vary depending on the season and produce availability. The salted hazelnut ice cream was superb. Be prepared to wait in a line on hot summer days.
