For entree, I had the Bloody Mary Oysters shots and my husband had the King Prawn Cocktails (I think that’s what it was called). For main it was the Moreton Bay Bug (which was amazing by the way) and Salt n Pepper Squid. Dessert was Ice Cream Sundae to share. Food was good, service was good and prices were actually reasonable so pretty happy with that. If anything, I couldn’t taste any alcohol on the Bloody Mary Shots but add a bit of alcohol would make them perfect! My husband had a Pina Colada which was shy in alcohol too. But apart from that, happy with everything.

Went here for dinner with my partner the other night and have to say it was fantastic. Great service and wide range of wines and drinks! Our food was to die for, having fresh and delicious seafood you will not get better in SA! We finished off our meal with the the divine espresso and white chocolate panda cotta they serve, which looked incredible. We will definitely be back. 5 stars.

Pretty excited to try yet another new restaurant in this lovely building overlooking the sea. Every time it changes hands, I am there! Unfortunately this time was quite disappointing. Reading the blurb at the start of the menu, we thought we would be in for a real seafood treat. The words stating the owners passion for fishing and bringing local seafood to his restaurant. This is not the case.I do love what they have done to the outside dining area with a long table bench overlooking the ocean, very nice.We waited quite a long time for our order to be taken, thinking maybe we had been forgotten being outside and they were not overly busy. Well, we had been, but the waiter did apologise, so all good.Started with whitebait, which was very average, they forgot the aioli as well, so we had to ask for this, when we got the aioli, it was super yum. Then we had the scallop dish and the octopus dish. Scallops were imported, small and overcooked, pea puree was not smooth as it should be and some croutons thrown on for crunch, this dish made no sense to me and really needs a lot of work. The octopus dish came out and they were, again, imported baby octopus, this is not stated on the menu and not what we were expecting. We wanted local fresh proper octopus, charred to perfection as we were expecting, sadly disappointed, a very average dish again. Moving onto the flathead main, again, pretty sure this was imported as well, as it was not freshly crumbed and certainly did not have the consistency of freshly crumbed local flathead! On the positive, the sauce with the fish was excellent, chips nice and salad well dressed.I was quite mystified as to why this owner states local seafood and yet serves imported sub par seafood, people will notice! I do hope improvements will be made as this is such a pretty spot and has huge potential, but no ones seems to be able to keep a restaurant going here for very long. Unfortunately wont return.
