Service was nice however the food was inedible and over priced based on the quality. I ordered a chicken schnitzel and could not eat more then one bite, it was soggy and wet and appeared to have been heated in the microwave. I would not recommend this pub for dinner. I checked the reviews before attending and was hoping that they had improved since the most recent reviews but unfortunately there appears to be no improvements. Given the small menu I was hopeful they would be able to execute the few dishes available but this was not the case. Some others at the table did enjoy there meals but most could not finish there’s. In a nice location but needs better more passionate kitchen staff.

The only reason we came was for the kids playground. The food is average pub meals, at an above average price. Parmie was $24. Beef fillet $36!!!! They hadn’t changed their menu in over a year, that is just embarrassing and shows lack of care from the cook. I say cook as a chef would have more respect for themselves. I guess patrons don’t care though as for Sunday lunch it was 100% booked, with every table having kids.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DISGUSTING PLACE !!! The 1 rating is for the kids play ground they have and that’s all this place has going for it !!!! Absolutely disgusting food ! Gordon Ramsay would be appalled !!! Their cooks and chefs should be fired immediately – read the other reviews !!!! All the same !!!You would think you would be safe with a Snitty and Chips at most places ….. well not here ! Terrible quality Snitty – the topping would just fall off – cold soggy chips and to top it off the salad you get with your meal was a chunk of iceberg lettuce and 1 chuck of tomato ! I mean how hard is it to get a 5 leaf salad ? And some balsamic dressing …. ? I wouldn’t feed my dog the food they served us ! And it wasn’t even cheap meals !!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR ! It’s not worth it !!! Even for the play ground !

To add to my last post… Dodd finally arrives and it is incorrect and DRY. Ordered the pork roast x 2, got 2 x beef and over cooked. My burger patty was like eating a hockey puck… My cider was flat… I could go on…10 May, 2015We came here because my mother in law booked it for dinner so the kids had something to do… A big playground. We arrived at 5:30 and ordered. The kids meals came out but at 7pm, we were still waiting. When asked where our food was… It hasn’t even been made as yet. Considering that this place wasn’t really busy, it has been very disappointing (garlic bread was yummy). Take the reviews on here seriously… Go somewhere else!

Really underwhelming food. Big outdoor (but covered) play area for the children – it can get very very noisy though. The food is most kindly described as below average. I had the calamari and it basically tasted like set egg white that was tough. The salad was just cucumber, lettuce and tomato (although, to be fair, at least it wasn’t drowned in dressing). I guess if you need to entertain a large number of children this is OK but if you want to eat I would head elsewhere.

We came here as quite a large group for lunch today. The kids all had a good time, especially playing on the playground. It was very busy, several large parties with children. The restaurant and the staff were all just fine. The staff were friendly & attentive. But, the general opinion of the food was that is was quite ordinary. My husband had their open burger, which sounded awesome on the menu. But when it arrived at the table, it looked no better than something you’d find down the road at the fish n chip shop. Really disappointing for $23!I had penne alla panna. It was nice, but nothing special. Probably could have made something similar myself at home. The side salads & veg were boring. Iceberg lettuce – who uses that anymore!? Kind of 80’s.It reminded us of RSL food. No pizazz or effort. Boring & overpriced. Just meh..
