This is seriously a culinary nightmare. Started with samosa dripping in oil. The curries rogan josh and butter chicken was practically inedible. Absolutely bland whatever the flavour was. Menulog put this under the five stars bracket, should have done the research. The only redeeming feature is the tamarind sauce was passable as well as the samosa flavour. Not usually this harsh but honesty is best policy.

I’m not sure why the rating is this low for Doaba. In my experience it is far better. After moving to the western suburbs a couple years ago i needed to find another local Indian place (my last was Chapati house 2 which is fantastic). After trying a number of places in the area Doaba is now my trusty local for Indian take away. The service is friendly, the food is all tasty and well priced to go along with good serving sizes. Admittedly one night we did have a miss with our meals which were far below par. Different chef maybe? But have since returned and the meals are back at their high standards. If you are in the western suburbs I’d recommend that you give these guys a go.

I have no idea what went wrong in comparison to other reviews I’ve read on here, but this was probably the worst Indian I’ve ever had. The naan bread was passable but the curries were gluggy and flavourless. When I called the restaurant to complain I was told I could only have a refund for anything I hadn’t eaten and offered no apology. Hopefully they were just having a bad night, but I recommend you go to Royal India on Woodville Rd to be on be safe side.Update: despite menu log and the restuarant telling me I could have a refund I am yet to receive this three weeks later. Avoid this place like the plague.

Best food in adelaide. Delicious butter chicken. Love it. We will definitely come again. Authentic indian food and real flavors. 5 star. Thanks

Tried this place as the regular place we get Indian takeaway was closed on a Monday night and we were not disappointed. Tried the butter chicken and the butter paneer masala and both were amazing! My boyfriend almost inhaled the butter chicken – it was that good! Probably one of the only places that actually gives you a decent serving of paneer pieces that I’ve come across also. The cheese naan is to die for. So much cheese! It’s so good. They don’t have any specials for dinner unless you want to get either a veg or non veg combo for 2 (no options for single meal deals), so this makes it a bit more expensive than some other places. They also cook the meals super fast! I ordered via menu log and came there probably within 10 mins and it was ready! Will definitely be returning!
