We’ve been her quite a few times, both dine in and take away. Pizzas are really tasty and toppings are simple yet delicious. The pizza bases are super thin so it’s easy to finish one to yourself. They also do a mean dessert pizzas with Nutella and berries. It’s very casual with BYO available, but bring your own wine glass. Rocco’s pizzas are a winner!
Love the fact that Rocco’s is not holding itself out to be anything other than a great pizza joint. Slow proven, hand stretched sourdough bases cooked in a wood oven. Nothing processed just great quality fresh ingredients. You write your order on a slip of paper, when it’s ready they yell out your name and you collect it and take it to your table. There is no cutlery or plates – just a roll of paper towel on the table. You eat your pizza and clear your own table. They sell Peroni beer but if you take wine they don’t charge you corkage. Everyone there loves their job and take great pride in the pizzas they are serving. Just brilliant.
