There a very few options to eat in KI but Bella was a surprise.The pizzas were really great and I was drooling over their garlic bread.Do try their vegetarian pizza and the brownies.
Arriving from Adelaide to Kingscote, the biggest advice I can give anyone travelling here is, there’s limited dining options. Bella cafe was one of the few cafes we saw in Kingscote and the food was decent. we shared some pizzas and they tasted alright. It would be nice if they expanded their menu though
The pizza is average. We had the Hawaiian and the lamb pizza. Lamb one is much more better than the Hawaiian pizza. But the salad blows my mind! It is terrific!But the service is not good enough. We waited more than 20 minutes to place our order at the counter, and was told we can only takeaway. And we waited another hour for the pizza. When we got our takeaway pizza and salad, they told us they run out of folks. Well, how are we going to have our salad then? They obviously don’t care and don’t even want to show any will to help you or just explain to you. Because they don’t even want to talk to their customers! Kangaroo island definitely need some decent restaurants.

Located in the heart of Kingscote, this Italian Restaurant was highly rated on here so we decided to visit for dinner. It was a cold evening and we were warmly welcomed in here. Although not many people dining out (probably due to the weather), the service was absolutely wonderful. Like a lot of dining venues in South Australia, you order and pay at the counter and they’ll bring out your meal to you. They have a selection of pizzas available we decided on the pastas. My first choice of Beef Cheek Ragu wasn’t available but not to worry. I chose the Fettucine Carbonara. My friend chose the Chilli Crab Linguine. Both were extremely generous portions and we thoroughly enjoyed our dishes. Full of ingredients and flavour it is quite nice here if you’re looking for a dinner venue.
