We visited here as they stock the wonderful Ligurian bee honey here. It is found only here and not in any other part of Australia. That’s probably why you cannot bring any other bee product onto Kangaroo Island to protect the species. The cafe here stocks plenty of honey based products and I was very interested in trying a few of them. I sampled the Kangaroo Island Hand Made Honey Comb Ice Cream, Half Serve 1 Scone With Honey & Cream, and Honeycomb Latte. A bit of a sugar rush I enjoyed all the products. The ice cream is definitely for the sweet tooths as flavoured with honey but also has chunks of honey comb throughout. The scone was tasty and soft. It pairs well with the honey and cream. The latte was nicely made and sprinkled with honeycomb. There is also a hive display with all the bees doing their thing as well as a gift shop selling many bee related goods. Service is lovely here and definitely pay a visit here.

They were delicious and a great afternoon treat. Highly recommend! The cafe has plenty of parking and also offers honey tasting and sells honey products and souvenirs.
