Raw chicken! Don’t eat here.. We ate at this restaurant last night and we ordered the grilled chicken with lemongrass half the chicken was cooked but the other half was cold and raw not even close to being cooked. We asked for a new one, the waitress apologized and said we would get a fresh one, about 5 minutes later she came out with the same plate but the chicken had been reheated, when we asked if it was fresh like she said it would be it, she said no just reheated. This wasn’t good enough being on the same plate as the raw chicken was (as the salad was the same because we ate part of it) she returned saying it would now be a 20 minute wait for the same dish. We refused and got no discount only a apology as we had eaten some of the dish we were not happy. We will not return and would not recommend this restaurant!
Beware – Don’t Go There!!!!. I love Chinese food and this was the worst I have ever had the misfortune to order, I have eaten in Chinese restaurants in many many places, but this was by far the worst. I called soon after discovering the gristly fatty duck red curry was really just lemongrass, the satay chicken was just coconut milk and peanuts and the honey chicken was an over cooked batter fest, offering to return the meals which are 90% uneaten and asked for a refund only to be told, they don’t give refunds and they serve good food……. NO THEY DON’T !!!!!!!!

This establishment has been here for many many years and I hope for many more. The service is always friendly, polite and attentive. The food is fresh, healthy and flavoursome, I’ve never had an oily or poor tasting dish here, and like so many Asian cuisines this does not leave you with stomach pains.I highly recommend the Imperial Room for a lovely family dine in or for take away and have at home.
Love this place. I’ve been meaning to review the Imperial Room for a while and finally got around to it after a visit there last week. The vietnamese beef salad is not to be missed – I could happily eat this alone and nothing else. The other winning dish is the steamed fish fillets with soy and ginger – the most amazing flavour, incredibly fresh and best of all boneless. I’d give the salt & pepper tofu a miss but other than that, you can’t go too far wrong.
Love the Hotpot. Really happy with the food-can’t get enough of the Combination hotpot! The choices and standard are really good, but the service doesn’t quite match the quality of the kitchen.Always seems to be 1 waiter short and you could literally die of thirst before a drink arrives(or an enquiry)When they do serve you order two and make mine a delicious 333 beer, which goes brilliantly with most courses here.
