Visited 29/7/2017 with 5 others to celebrate my wife’s birthday as well as our wedding anniversary. We have visited this restaurant on many occasions but mainly when under the previous owners. It was renowned for its silver service as well as the quality of the food. Unfortunately the food standard is still acceptable but the service is lacking in many respects. The staff were pleasant and helpful however they were few in number causing us to wait for attention and additional service such as a second serving of soup. This is something that did not happen under the previous owners when attention by staff was of a high quality. When the food and wine for 6 persons amounts to $730.00 a better standard is expected and deserved.

Had a lovely dinner with Garnet last Friday night at the Lenzerheide. It is a cut above many other restaurants in Adelaide without being over the top. The staff are very attentive with being over bearing and the decor is comfortable. We had the potato soup which is very tasty and warming on a cold night to start with, I like a generous amount of pepper added. I highly recommend this as a starter. Normally you would have you entrees next but the mains were served next. Staff were very apologetic, but not a big issue for us. Garnet had the barramundi and it was delicious. I had the venison, which was the best I have had in a long time. Cook to perfection with a rich sauce. The vegetables and rosti went very well with my venison. For entree Garnet tried steak tartar for the first time with its various condiments, I must admit I have a mental problem with it but Garnet did enjoy it. I had the scolopes which were good but not something I would recommend. Finally for desert Garnet had the creme brle and I had a ice cream filled crepe. Both tasty and very generous in size. All in all a lovely dinner at a restaurant I highly recommend for quiet indulgent dinner.

Excellent service, food beautifully presented and tasted great, shellfish ragout for entree, trio of tenderloin for main & a chocolate plate for dessert, i couldn’t fault any of it. Looking forward to my next visit

Food was good quality but not for the price. The restaurant has a fancy reputation and is clearly happy to make this it’s only selling point rather than provide an exceptional service which justifies it’s top dollar price range. If you’re prepared to pay this price range you can get much much better elsewhere, service wise, atmosphere wise and food wise.

Outdated. Snail like service. Too much competition. Over priced. Resting on their laurels. Ridiculous wine thing where you have to go and browse shelves and pick one. Quiet with no atmosphere. Suitable for granny’s 80th.

Lenzerheide is an old house hold name for many Adelaidians that serves classic dishes in a modern way. Although the decor is a little outdated this is a very elegant establishment, nice for a special occasion.
