Excellent food, great coffee and friendly staff. Ordered the halloumi mushroom with extra pulled pork on the side, the pulled pork so tender and juicy, it goes really well with the touch of chilli on it.
Went the other morning, had the mushroom stack – was incredible! Added haloumi – all the flavours worked so well together, staff super friendly
Nice cafe, with many options. My friend had the mushroom/ hash stack. I had the zucchini fritters. There was zero taste of zucchini, and only a tiny visability of green. They were deep fried perfectly. The hash was also good, with a generous topping of cheese. We booked for 930. At 1030 they told us that they had double booked our table, so they kindly gave us free coffee to take away and sent us home. Luckily for us we were close to leaving anyway
The place was packed with people on a Sunday morning and we were lucky to get a table. We ordered coffees straight away which took a while to reach us – great coffee though. The food was really slow to come out, over half an hour. The staff were really friendly and helpful but the operation seemed to be lacking something to make it a well oiled machine. Ordered the eggs benny and the baked eggs and they were both ok. Overall, the coffee was great, the food was good but the wait time would stop me from returning
Always busy with locals, it’s a small welcoming placeon the corner of Magill Rd. I only come here for the pancakes, which are always pretty but can be a bit hit and miss taste-wise – the last time I came it was on the dry side. The brunch menu is pretty standard but the coffee is always good though. Just be warned, for a small place it can get pretty noisy inside. karylleeats.wordpress.com
Great food, excellent coffee and service. 10/10. We were seated straight away and coffee service began immediately, just what I needed after a big night. Food was prompt, pretty generous! I got the Spanish eggs and only complaint is that I’d have preferred the chorizo chopped up a bit smaller, not a big deal tho. I also like paying the bill at the counter.
Always busy. This place can get quite noisy as well. The food is typical breakfast and brunch items. I dont think the menu is very innovative but a good place to catch up with friends for a coffee.
