Charming little place, well kept interior train carriage with nice, homely service. Don’t expect gourmet foods with pretentious spices – it’s basic, simple food. The sausages & chips is just sausages and chips without a hint of lemon myrtle or fennel seeds in sight. It’s nice to have a simple, honest meal in a premier region like Mclaren Vale, free of all the food hype that usually accompanies wineries. The pricing is just as honest. Nice place to take the family (preferably a smaller family 😉 ) for an easy catch up.
