Love coming here for celebrations. The food is always great and the staff are really helpful and friendly. Really good for takeaway as well! Favourites are the schezuan steak and the salt and pepper squid!
If you fancy old style country town Chinese that’s quick and easy and good value, you can’t go wrong. Friendly local service, freshly cooked food. We had lemon chicken was its usually lemony sweet deep fried goodness, accompanied by sizzling chilli beef and veggies. Huge serves, all hot and delicious.

The best Chinese food South of adelaide. Bought 2 dishes takeaway with rice and spring rolls and were so impressed by it all. I have had many Chinese dishes at various places around all of SA and these guys are by far the best down south. I can’t wait to purchase another glorious meal there
Would not recommend – I spent $40 on three noodle and vegetable dishes which all had next to no vegetables in them. Without exaggeration, there was about 1/4 of a carrot, 1 small piece of bok choy and a fraction of onion in total across all three meals . I essentially paid $40 for three tubs of noodles, which I think is very poor considering both the price and the description of the meals. I brought them back straight away and was told that not only was a refund not possible but no offer of even adding a few vegetables to improve the meals was made. I was told that there was no manager available to talk to, and the chef who appeared to be making the decisions could be heard yelling from the kitchen, only for the poor waitress to then tell me that he was too busy to talk, despite an empty restaurant. Overall a very disappointing experience
Family friendly and great food. I loved the food prepared by the new owners. I have eaten Chinese food across many places in Australia and Hong Kong and locally Redgum and Yum Sing at Reynella are both very good value. Like anything else, you get what you pay for. That being said, food is enjoyable and good value and staff are all lovely.
