Have dined in and taken away from restaurant for several years. As a family we have always found the food of a very good quality. The dining experience, very quick and friendly service with a nice family feel. Also with water provided at table really no need to spend more than $50 for a family meal we always share dishes and feel full and satisfaction on way out. Think alot of other reviews i have read on this site unfair and unjustified. The food is of a high standard and lovely . Master Chef and Gordon Ramsay types can criticize all they like when spending $100 for a serve.
Thought we would try this out after living in Mclaren Vale for a while. Ordered a takeaway to take home and enjoy. It was terrible. Dry fried rice. Soft tasteless meat. Soggy vegetables. Had a few mouthfuls and the rest in the bin – worse Asian takeaway I’ve ever had.
Great. Over from Victoria and decided to dine out Chinese. The food was what you would expect- but the service was A+Staff were friendly and service quick. As we were leaving the stff went out of their way to recommend some wineries to us and several other attractions for us to look at.And if they are reading this the wineries they recommended were fantastic !!
What can I say but terrible!!!!!! How can you get fried rice wrong? That is really saying something! Dumplings were hard, vegetable buns were disgusting, beef was over tenderised and salty, lemon chicken was gluggy, just bad bad bad all round and not to mention the slow service of food and the food coming at different times! And very overpriced for bad food
Mr T. I have been involved in the restaurant and hospitality trade for more than 20 years and would have to say Redgum has some if the nicest and original dishes in Adelaide. The staff and owners are lovely people that really know their stuff ! Food is authentic asian and is fresh and cooked to perfection. Wine list is extensive and well stocked . I travel over 30km to eat there every week . Three ticks from me !!
Worst food ever!!! Not even Chinese people cooking, ordered BBQ pork as an entree, so dry and tough, then prawn toast no prawns in it, mains we had salt and pepper pork ribs, were told it was the beef we had ordered as well, clearly wasn’t after we tried it, was ok then our crispy beef arrived…. Well that would have to be the WORST dish I’ve ever had at any restaurant!!!! It was crispy alright, it was tiny, dry, over deep fried, disgusting pieces of what they called beef!!!!! I had one bite of a piece and that was it!!!! Never going back here again, said something they didn’t care and casually said ‘hope you will be back’!! It would have to be the worst meal we have had at a restaurant, not one dish was ok!
