A bustling cafe along the main street, we got there as lunch was beginning. Different to the charcuterie platters and modern dishes we had become a custom to in the last 72 hours, it was something heavy, fried and home-y. Portion size was huge so don’t go there for a snack. Partner in crime had a tex burger, while I had the southern fried chicken. Simple fresh salad, thickly crumbed chicken and salty chips – a great pub food but overall very heavy. Again, wishing I could give a 2.5 instead of 2 as 2 doesn’t do justice. Fresh and hot, no bad news, but ‘eh’, in the scheme of things.

We enjoyed a very nice pepperoni pizza, with a well made tasty coffee. We found the service was friendly and helpful. Understandable a number of customers enjoying lunch, as the menu had good affordable options. We left very satisfied and pleased this was the Cafe we chose.
