Disgusting the pork was so chewy my jaw hurt and the beef was chewing the prawn toast was dry and flavourless we will never be eating here again.
We turned up with no booking and a party of 13! They hired extra staff, the service was excellent, the food was delicious and came out super fast, the restaurant wasn’t noisy and it was a really lovely night. Thanks so much guys, the new management are obviously on the ball. Definitely recommend.
Great food and affordable price. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Definitely a good place to go for Chinese in the hills if you don’t want to travel for 40 km to Chinatown.
BBQ Hill makes the best fried rice (in my opinion of course) and the food is always delicious. The service is a bit slow and could definitely be improved. But other than that, everything else is great.
Pretty ordinary. We ate here for the first and last time the other night. The cold boiled rice came about 5 mins before one lots of food and then there was an almost 10 minute wait before the next dish came out. The rice had hard lumps in it with one so glutinous and hard I couldn’t even get a fork into it and I’m talking BIG lumps ie a coagulation of 5cm across.The Garlic Prawns were actually ok the Pork sauce good but Pork tough.Then we heard and then watched them hammering corks back into bottles????For those who think this is good Chinese food the chef was either very different or they have no taste buds.
DISGUSTING. Satay chicken soooo much oil had to pour the oil off of my meal, tasted revolting fried rice grainy tasted terrible have never had such a bad takeaway will never go again absolutely terrible lets hope the rubbish bin enjpys it total waste of nearly $20
Bad. I ordered takeaway from BBQ Hill twice and twice the order was wrong. I tried to tell the woman it was wrong but she didnt understand. Then some guy came out and I tried to tell him and he didnt get it. Both times I gave up and went away with one thing missing. We decided to give them another try on Mother’s day 2013. We were waiting for our entres to come out and 2 of them didnt come out. Then two of the main meal dishes were brought to us. I told the waitress we hadn’t received our entres. She left the main dishes on the table and went back to the kitchen, so they got cold waiting for the entres to be brought out. Eventually she brought the entres to us. She didnt take the cold main dishes back to the kitchen to replace them or warm them. It was all a shambles and I will never go there again for a meal or takeaway.
