Locally owned and run wholefood cafe with an emphasis on plant based gluten free meals. The cafe uses locally sourced produce where possible with supplies from Skara smallgoods, Udder Delights cheese, Harris smoked salmon, Adelaide Hills pastured eggs, Tweedvale Milk and Organic Fairtrade coffee from Patio Coffee Roasters. Brother Bear supports local makers such as Alcome skincare, Wrappas wax wraps, Etikette hand poured candles, Wildfire Organic Teas and That Red House soapberries. Brother bear is also a Responsible Cafe offering a 50 cent discount for bringing your own reusable coffee cup. The Gordo, The Vegan Bear and the Brother Bear (vegan gluten free) Waffles are not to be missed.Details

Vegan, vego, GF or mainstream meals all catered for. Tucker is fresh, drinks excellent, BB is a good eatery, whole foods, staff are excellent. Gawler St has another great lunch venue.
Great cafe, awesome coffee aSelection of seasonal whole foods and amazing cakes and treats both vegan and normal. Treat yourself!
Service is awesome, everyone is always so happy to see you. The business ethics are amazing with no take away paper/plastic, no plastic straws. Heaps of Vegan/Vegetarian & GF options as well! All local produce – fantastic venue.
