Great coffee and such a relaxed vibe sitting outside under the trees reading the paper. We could have stayed all day. Staff were lovely too!23 Jan, 2015Perfect spot for a coffee. Tucked away on a nice little strip, Grounds for Coffee has a relaxed vibe and does some solid coffee. Seating outside is great and staff are friendly. Worth a visit

Anita. Took elderly mother for lunch & shared one main on 2 plates – no problem & very generous for the 2 of us.Nice variety of interesting food, well cooked and very tasty salads.Friendly owner who also cooks, prepares and waits on tables! Prompt and efficient service, nice decor & I liked seeing rugs available in winter for those sitting outside.Well done

Iced long black. There is no shame in not knowing how to make a beverage and saying so, or asking for help but when I ordered an iced long black sometimes known as a long black on ice. They decided to serve it with what tasted like 8 sugars in it, with out asking if I wanted any what if I was diabetic? To top it off the acclaimed barista didn’t even apologise for her mistake. Could you imagine if that was a cappuccino that I ordered and she put that many sugars in it…The cafe is very cute but the coffee and service make it something not worth stopping into mt barker for, or stopping ever. The remade iced long black had 3 cubes of ice and was like warm.

Fantastic!. Often stop here for lunch or coffee and cake, depending on what time of the day it is. Coffee is great and they have the BEST brownies. Lunch is just delish! Good selection of light lunches and salads, all healthy stuff. Service is always friendly, sometimes a bit slower but being so popular, they can get very busy. LOVE the relaxed atmosphere, potplants, books and crocheted rugs! Will always stop in when passing through!

Couldn’t get a coffee. Went here for a quick lunch to go and a latte didn’t get a hello while I was kept waiting at the register soooo many other cafes thanks

Went here for the first time today. AMAZING! Def what the town needs. Owner told me they had recently changed their menu last 3-5months. ALOT of GF Meals, beautiful vegetarian salads and patties, quiches, pies etc. just hired a new raw chef so a lot of healthy yummy treats to come I would say! Had a wonderful experience and will def be back!!!!! Welcome feedback from customers which is lovely to voice your feed back! Well done 🙂

This loverly European style cafe is located on the main street shopping area. On walking inside you could be in a cafe in Italy, Comfortable dining area inside with tables and umbrellas for alfresco dinning outside. the decor, the scent of the coffee, the fresh variety of food on the menu, the cakes. People relaxing and enjoying their coffee/lunch. All of this creating that European ambience we enjoy. My choice of food, a delightful tasting local made wood fired pie, garnished with fresh salad, very appetizing, finishing with a great tasting, well made coffee. All of this was delivered to my table, without any delays. The Cafe was busy which is understandable, yet the service was friendly, prompt, professional. Thoroughly satisfying lunch.
