Ok, so the venue itself isn’t amazing. It’s just some space at the bottom floor of, yes, a car park, sharing space with a pizza place etc. However – the food from here is genuinely excellent. We cook and buy a lot of Indian food, so are well placed to say this is some of the better Indian around. Whole spices are evident in the curries, they carry great individual flavour and their prices are excellent. Throw in the great naan bread, and you really can’t go wrong. Highlights are the goat curry – you simply must try that; the eggplant massala, malai kofta and just everything else we have tried really. All great (well except the fish curry – that was merely quite good). Only gets 4 stars because of the building etc, but on flavour, range, quality and value this takes some serious beating. feedmeadelaide.com
Ajj1307. Ordered takeaway last night and was bitterly disappointed. My beef dish smelt and tasted like goat which I cant eat. My husbands beef dish was less than average and both dishes were thin and oily. Neither of us were able to finish our meals. Our friends chicken dish was average. Two of us have been sick today. The wait time was 40 minutes and being a Friday night I believed they must have been flat out. When our friend went to collect the order he had to wait for ages before someone atended to him and there wasnt a soul in the restaurant. This place used to be amazing but not anymore. Don’t waste your money here.
Friday Night Takeaway. This place is busy for a reason! We had takeaway tonight and it was the best we have had anywhere in Adelaide and the Hills in a very long time.We will be back for sure.
3 pieces of chicken for main dish
Best Indian I have ever had! Great flavours & excellent value for money. Service is great aswell
Found legacy of India and tried it on a whim. So glad we did, some of the best Indian we’ve had, if not the best. Both food and service are fantastic and the flavour is superb. You can’t go wrong and we will continue to come back regularly!
Great Food and Excellent Service. This has to be one of the best Indian cuisine restaurants in Adelaide, and certainly the Adelaide Hills. Their service is fast, and their food is always fantastic. The prices are very reasonable, which makes taking the family out to dine a very afforadable option. I feel this restuarant is extremely underated, and if you haven’t tried it yet, then give it a go. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy!
