Uncooked fish and the chips were hardly cooked. Tried to ask for a refund and was advised they dont give refunds. So they’re cooking raw food and refusing me a refund? Service is disgusting, dont waste your time.
Dont go to the mount without a visit. We visited the mount over summer and found this magic little fish n chip shop, it has the best dippy dogs and home made potato cakes we have ever eaten for many years ( real sliced spud) no fake patty and real home made hamburger patties.the food was always of the highest standard and cooked in fresh oil.my wife, kids and I had our evening meals there every day for 2 of the 3 weeks we were in the mount but for Tuesday and Wednesday as unfortunately they were shut them days.a real credit to the lovely owners in a family run businessTHANK YOU GUYS IF YOUR READING THIS AND WE WILL BACK WITH THE FAMILY TO EAT AGAIN NEXT HOLIDAYS.REGARDS John, Sue and Kids
By far the best potato cakes I’ve had in over 20 years. We were in Mt Gambier for a short break from Melbourne and thought we’d give it a go and bought 2 potato cakes. Unbelievably good, so we ordered more potato cakes and tried the flake and chips which were just as good. Golden crispy chips and lightly battered flake without being greasy. We’d be there every week if they weren’t so far away.
