  Riverscape is always our first choice when in Murray Bridge. We have been coming here for approx 6 plus years and the food is ofconsistantly high standard and the choice will please everyone at your table. Prices are definitely NOT $$$$, but on par with Pub Meals and i have a very large query on it being African! Their service is always friendly and even when full we have never had to wait long. Justification for always coming back.

  UNHYGIENIC!Rude, disrespectful employees who will reject bookings even when they have no customers. If you happen to make a booking they are insulting, ignorant and give you attitude for being there.These are the glasses you’ll be served with (unwashed with milk and lipstick stains) but don’t dare ask for clean glasses they will get aggressive start slamming glasses on the tables start abusing and Try to kick you out and banning you.YES Riverscape WAS one of the best places to dine in Murray Bridge but unfortunately now it’s just a disgrace in every kind of way. What a shame!

  NOTE FOR THOSE LOOKING TO TRY RIVERSCAPE: Realise that almost every positive review left here is from a user that A) created an account to specifically review this restaurant (accounts made the same day as review meaning not a long time lurker of restaurants etc) B) Made an exceptionally positive review with no negatives and pointing out the ‘great views’ and ‘amazing food’ without elaborating on their ‘experience’ and finally C) Have never used the zomato account for any further reviews or activity. This should have been a major red flag that these are just fake reviews from the owners but I guess wishful thinking got the better of me and I suffered the consequences..Edit: Surprisingly after a quick google of a name of a positive reviewer here and WALAH! He was the server who served us today. Though he was exceptionally nice I may add it goes to show you can’t trust every review here on zomato 🙂 .My Experience:Firstly, the place is nice and the service lovely, though the outside dining area needs cleaning. Now the food, I ordered the calimari and it was obviously just deep fried calimari from the frozen section of the supermarket, no chef-made calimari just deep fried, boring, flavourless fried squid rings. Not to say that I haven’t had store bought calimari from a restaurant before but at least buy a good brand. Furthermore, I understand that tartar sauce in restaurants is often sourced from the supermarket but Riverscape could not even pay the extra dollar or two for the one that isn’t just processed sludge? I mean come on. Partner ordered the Chicken Schnitzel and even that was shop bought. Thin, no crispy chef-made crust and soggy. The garlic sauce he had with it had a horrible lemony taste to it (no garlic) and lumps of flour all through it. Neither of us could finish our meals and I regret not taking photos of the dishes to prove my experience.Maybe the kitchen was just having a bad week and had to rely on supermarket bought items but honestly this is the worst meal that my partner and I have ever had from any restaurant, and we are NOT picky eaters.

  I have lived in Murray Bridge my whole life, and at the times I have been to he Riverscape restaurant I have never had anything wrong with my meal. Everything was so amazing and fresh. I actually walked away holding my stomach as I was that full and satisfied, the staff there are absolutely beautiful noting can be faulted with the classy dinning of this restaurant. The prices are amazing as well for the portion of the meals you get, I have eaten at many places in my time of being young and I have found that this place is the absolute best.
