Excellent food preparation. We had madras lamb and it turned out the perfect dish we ever had in Australia. I highly recommend this restaurant for either take away or dine in. I had take away.
Good value and a comprehensive menu of traditional Indian food. Fully licensed and BYO. The lunch menu is the best & cheapest feed you’ll get in Adelaide with a choice of half a dozen dishes plus naan and rice for $8.90!
Excellent food, price and service! Will definitely eat here again!
I am an Indian and absolutely love Indian food! I have tried plenty of Indian restaurants and the food at curry and kebab house (Newton village) is probably the best we have had. We always get the dal tadka, saag paneer and lamb roghanjosh along with some naans. Naans are very fluffy and their stuffed chilli cheese naan is spot on. The restaurant service has been good. The chef/owner makes the visit always friendly with his warm and friendly chat. So, if you like Indian food give this restaurant a go. It looks humble on the outside but may just surprise you.
Been here a few times. Indian is my favourite cuisine and this place is my pick for Adelaide.I love their naan and rice. They have a great range of dishes including a lot of vegetarian options. Saag lamb is my favourite. The staff are also very attentive and polite. Highly recommend.
We had been meaning to try this new Indian restaurant for ages. Situated on the edge of Newton Shopping Village, it’s menu was traditional and appealing. We went early on a Saturday evening, and were the only patrons, which was a shame. The atmosphere was still warm and friendly. Good service and chilled Kingfisher lager and poppadums to start, followed by a beef madras and aloo gobi. Sensational naan bread, slightly soapy tasting rice.It was good food and incredibly cheap. We will return with the family and give it another go.
Ordered takeaway, butter chicken, chicken tikka and lamb korma. Portions were fair, each curry was packed with flavour and not overly spicy, naan bread were fresh and soft ( must try the cheese and spinach naan). Lovely staff. Recommend.
