To be perfectly fair I cannot really rate the food. I arrived on a Saturday afternoon with my 6yr old daughter @ 14H55 to have a late lunch. I walked up the counter greeted the person behind the counter and took two menus. I then went to a table to pick our meal. I went up the counter to order and was told: sorry sir we cannot take your order as the kitchen closes at 15H00 it was 15H01 I showed the person behind the counter that it was 15H01 and pointed out that they watched me take the menus and did not say a thing. I just got a blank look back saying sorry rules are rules ! I saw no point in arguing and left with a very disappointed 6yr old daughter. But on the + side we did go down the road to Caf Va Bene and had a great meal served by friendly staff. We are local to the area and always try to support the businesses around us. But with attitudes like we got at Elbios it is not worth returning.

It was busy which made the service a little slow but the staff are all very friendly. My friend had the muesli & raisin toast whilst I had the gluten free waffles. The waffles were yummy but a tad too much cream for me personally. My friend really enjoyed the fresh fruit in the muesli. It was great to see multiple gluten free dessert options too!

Very unimpressed. Customer service average and the food… I had the vegetarian delight that the menu said consisted of smashed avocado, fetta, rocket and lime juice. I think i found 4 pieces of avocado and the whole thing was severely overpowered by lime – it became inedible only after a few mouthfuls. My companion had big brekkie and the bacon was tasteless and as palatable as cardboard. We left feeling really disappointed.

Great food and service. I was told about Elbios and how great it was so I decided to try it out. I have now been there a few times and will keep on going back. My favourite is the chivitos (burger) and chicken wrap. The shoestring fries are also delicious!! My favourite dessert is the Massini chantilly and my son loves the churros. The food is always fresh and delicious and the staff are always friendly and helpful. This place is always busy when I visit and it is not hard to see why!! Definitely one of my favourite eateries!!

Pretty damn good. Went here for coffee and cake last Saturday. Had Blackforest Cake and a caramel horn with coffees. Very good cake and pretty good coffee. Lovely staff who were friendly and helpful. Sat on the verandah and felt that the world was a very fine place indeed.Must go back for a lunch at some point because the menu looks good. One point to mention is that their website says they close at 5.00 on a Saturday, but in fact thy close at 4.00 and the chef goes home at 3.00. My wife was hoping for the churros, but chef had legged it.

We live about 200m from this place aren’t we lucky 🙂 been there twice now, once for lunch which was great! And then for coffee and cake, some of the cakes are really good and some where ok, the choc mousse was the best! Coffee really good too! Will keep going back
