Overall poor. Decided to try the restaurant food what a mistake. Worst pub meal I have had in Adelaide. Ribs while the meat fell off the bone had a sauce that was basically molten sugar, I don’t think even the Americans would eat this! Also had the fancy chicken stuffed with chorizo on a bed of cauliflower mush. Chicken tasteless, chorizo was mostly gristle and well the cauliflower mush cold straight out of the fridge. Imagine that texture mix for a moment. To top off the side salads, well let’s just say the chef doesn’t know how to season. Pork sliders were ok but nothong special. Garlic bread was the highlight so I guess that sums it up!The chef could do with visiting the Woodville Hotel. A done up pub that knows how to serve fancy pub grub with taste and value for money.

I visited the Bath Hotel last week with 4 friends for a few drinks and a meal. I had a wine and ordered the Salt and Pepper Squid. Three pieces of squid into my meal I experienced stomach cramps and had to race to the bathroom to throw up. The only thing in my stomach was the squid and a little red wine so there was not much to come out. Once that was gone my cramps settled and while my stomach was uneasy I no longer felt the need to vomit.I took the mostly uneaten meal to the bar and complained, and another staff member came to my table and asked what had happened. On telling the story he offered me a discounted drink and I asked for a refund of the $24 for the meal, which he indicated he could not do.I had returned the meal largely uneaten, within a few minutes of it being served, and after I had just thrown up the only food in my stomach which was the salt and pepper squid. I had nothing to gain by lying and all I wanted was reimbursement for what was obviously a tainted meal.To clarify further, I have no food allergies and have a generally strong stomach. I cannot recall the last time food that I had eaten affected me so strongly.I have since Facebook messaged the Bath Hotel seeking a response twice and there has been no reply. This is below par and very poor service to not even respond to a concern puts me off going there again. I would suggest you go elsewhere if you can.

I’ve been to the bath a lot over the years and the food is good but I think for pub grub it’s a little over priced. Most recently I ordered the curry of the day which came with raita and pappadum, super delicious but I was still hungry. The dining area is well presented and the pub is great in summer with the decked out beer garden and chilled atmosphere. Lots of wine selection available, rooms available for hire too for functions with share plates and platters availableto enjoy between guests.

Absolutely appalled with this place. For one, There service was terrible, staff were rude and obnoxious. One waitress also spilt a drink on a friend and didn’t even apologise. Even the starter bread was burnt and stale.I was with a group and we specifically rung up a week in advance to say there would be a vegan. They said they can easily cater for that. When they gave us the menus the waiter said to me (the vegan) that they can either just make the salads vegan, or there is a vegan risotto they can make. I chose the vegan risotto. However, 5 minutes before everyone else meals came out, I was informed that they ‘accidentally’ put butter in the risotto. I’m sorry but how do you accidentally put butter into something that was SPECIFICALLY vegan, I honestly don’t believe they were ever going to make a risotto. They said they can do the salad or make a vegan pasta, I went with the vegan pasta (thinking it would be a tomato sauce based pasta – I was stupidly mistaken).Everyone else’s meals came out and they looked quite nice, then mine came out – it was spaghetti – the dressing was olive oil – actually, more like the soup that the pasta was in was olive oil and on top was 5 mushy peas and a few pieces of wilted spinach leaves. If this place just had all round bad quality food than sure, give me a crappy pasta. However, everyone else enjoyed their meal. So I think it’s just appalling that you refuse to be accommodating and come up with, at the very least, a pleasant vegan meal.

Visited the Bath tonight for a Christmas dinner. Waited for ages before even being acknowledged as I wasn’t sure which table was ours as we had booked. Service was extremely poor. Bread was horrific. Stale and ready to be made into crumbs. Our seven meals were all very poor. Not worth what we paid. Left to have dessert elsewhere. Very unhappy. Seven staff at the bar having a great time but not doing their jobs. Very chatty.

The Bath hotel situated on the Parade Norwood SA. The hotel has been tastefully redecorated and refurbished. The dining bar areas are modern, spacious, with lots of excellent dining options. We decided to sit under the umbrellas kerbside, while shoppers strolled past. Their menu offered a range of great lunch options. On finishing we relaxed in the shade and enjoyed a glass of bubbles. The service was efficient and friendly, nice place for lunch on a sunny spring day.
