Been here twice, and both times were nothing short of a horrible experience. What stands out the most is the service. It’s the worst I’ve ever had to endure. The place was empty but the staff were clearly not coping?? Also, they gave me a glass with ice to go with my beer??? Umm… Fortunately, the pizza was really good. Won’t be back though……. Unless the service actually improves.
Have been here twice (went back second time ‘cos had a voucher), and twice have had uncooked and/or incorrect food brought to the table. Serves are huge and have had to move table twice to have enough room to put everything on the table. This is all is unfortunate because this is such a lovely building. Won’t be back. However… the Settebello at Newton is Great!!!
Fettuccine was de-licious. Potato pizza was average but I enjoyed the base. Anchovies was an interesting addition to the seafood platter, but that was otherwise decently tasty. Our waitress was lovely!
Very poor service, unfriendly staff who made several mistakes. Red wine served when we had ordered white, cold milk on the side when hot milk was ordered. The waiter did not return with the hot milk and we had to chase him up after 10 min wait.
Slowest service ever. Forgot about our meal and made up lies about it and staff were very rude. Do not recommend it and will not be coming back
Beautiful building and a beautiful waitress – but thats it. My veal dish was a mess – over cooked and tough meat, badly undercooked vegetables, poorly presented I dont think the chef takes any pride in his creations. Thats very disappointing as this must be one of the most beautiful restaurant buildings in Adelaide. I wont be back.
Sadly the positive experience of the great food that they served, was taken away by the abysmal service. Still waiting for my drink!!!!!!!!!!
