Enjoyed the first time but second time back On Friday evening they served a cold prawn entree that was deep fried. The waiter agreed to refund but then took it back when I went to pay. Dishonest service and raw food!Never going back and not recommended – all because of an under cooked $5 entree. Not good hospitality and Not good business!
GOOD SERVICESaturday night dinner here was satisfying, with good flavours.I find most Chinese restaurants have a sameness about them but this one is a notch above the others. He started with his favourite shallot pancake (only 1) & enjoyed it.She had samosas which were delicious & I had the potato prawns which weren’t hot but still tasted good, especially with the matched dipping sauce. The main courses didn’t all come out together but that is my only quibble as they were all good – s&p prawns, crispy beef & sizzling sichuan fish fillet which were fab. Plus some steamed rice to soak up the tasty sauces.
We were off to a bad start when the steamed dim sims came to the table still partly frozen. However, this was corrected quickly and the waiter was apologetic. It was up hill from there and we loved our remaining entrees- the Vietnamese seafood roll, chicken satays and the Peking duck (always a favourite). But the highlights were no doubt the Shan dong chicken with lots of coriander and chilli and the fish fillet in hot chilli oil… both amazing!! 10/10 would recommend
